Took the class for the boom lift. The course is informative and Greg does a good job of making sure everyone understands the source material. Where he shines is in the hands-on portion. You can tell he knows these machines in and out and does a great job walking everyone through how to do inspections and operate the equipment. The written and operating tests are both fair. I would recommend anyone who needs any sort of lift training to consider going with Vertical Technologies. The material cover is top notch and the cost per person certified is more than fair!

I have rented equipment from Vertical Technologies for several construction projects. The office staff has always been helpful and each time I have scheduled deliveries they have been very prompt. The delivery people are always friendly and are eager to answer any questions you may have about the rental equipment. I wish other firms were as organized and efficient as these guys! I am an active member of the Hawaii Local 665 and just completed an instructional course that Vertical Technology offers at their Mapunapuna campus. This was not just an in-the-book kind of course and then a quiz. This instructional course and instructors have been in the field and are very experienced not just with equipment but have information and step to step do’s and do not’s that only come with years of experience. They share vital information that is preventive and that could make a difference while operating these types of heavy equipment. This is a hands-on class so don’t think you’re going to come in slippers and sit at a desk for 8 hours. Be ready to put on a harness and get in the driver’s seat. The Instructor knows exactly what level you are at and will work with you hands-on. It was so informative and the level of professionalism was amazing. I left not only with certification and credentials. But I left feeling competent and with an assurance that I can be put on any one of these machines and know that not only my safety but the safety of others is in good hands being and knowing the level of information and hands-on training I was taught.
